This is an opportunity for ALL PILOTS, but especially those from all of Canada's Virtual Airlines to get out the 'small iron' and fill up Toronto FIR's skies with skies with the smaller aircraft that our airlines operate. Beechcraft 1900s, Dash 8s, ERJs, CRJs, and maybe the occasional B737 for our friends at WestJet.
Keep the aircraft small, the routes short, and the legs multiple! CZYZ FIR will be providing full staffing at CYYZ and a minimum of tower staffing at CYOW, CYHM, and CYXU. Other towers around the province may be staffed as personnel availability dictates.
The neighbouring Cleveland, Montreal, and Winnipeg FIRs will be invited to staff their FIRs. Come out and celebrate our newest statutory holiday by taking a flight in CZYZ!
